VICAS is a non-profit voluntary organization established with a group of rural youths and social scientists in 1987. Vision of organization is to work towards scientific development of rational, non-exploitable society.

The main objectives are to develop scientific
attitude in community/common population, Mass action for national regeneration, Integration
of education and development, Establishing equality in society for national integration.
Strategy and Interventions are need based resource mapping planning and implementation,
Mutual participation with the stakeholders, Undertake research followed by feasibility test
for implementation and expansion, to develop specifically designed curriculum and conduct
technical training for skill building through holistic approach, Create a consortium of
various stakeholders to address specific problems and ensure awareness through mutual
cooperation and support to promote innovation and demonstration through community
participation, to create an effective model for replication.
